On my recent semi-annual dental exam Dr. Mettens informed me one of my molars would need a crown in the future. Rather than wait I scheduled an appointment for the following week. In the past getting a crown involved two visits. On the first visit you would get a temporary and a week or so later return for the permanent crown that was made at a dental lab. Now the crown is produced at the dentist office and eliminates a second appointment. I was in and out of the office with my permanent crown in about two hours. Dr. Mettens and his staff as always were very skilled and professional.
